The Opportunity
We’re looking for a proactive, hands on and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help expand Foundey’s pipeline of high-quality startup clients. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers—primarily founders and decision-makers in SaaS, AI, and tech companies.
You’ll play a critical role in connecting innovative startups with design solutions that drive real business outcomes. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building relationships from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and research potential clients within SaaS, AI, and tech startup ecosystems
Conduct outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and other channels
Qualify inbound and outbound leads to assess fit and readiness
Schedule and coordinate discovery calls for the sales or leadership team
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities
Collaborate with marketing and design teams to refine outreach messaging
Track activities and performance using CRM tools
Continuously optimize outreach strategies based on results and feedback
Qualifications
3 years+ of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation (preferably in SaaS or agency environments)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in written outreach
Experience with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
Ability to understand and communicate design, product, or tech-related concepts
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely
English proficiency required (additional languages are a plus)
Nice to Have
Experience selling design, product, or digital services
Understanding of UI/UX design processes and product development
Experience working with early-stage startups or founders
