Position Overview
Graduate Assistant Instructor will serve as Instructor of Record and teach courses assigned by the department and graduate coordinator.
Responsibilities
Teaching duties will align with the assigned courses within the Literatures & Cultural Studies discipline, following department and university guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be in good academic standing.
Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher appropriate to the area of service.
Have successfully completed at least 18 hours of graduate coursework in the assigned teaching discipline.
Be registered full‑time for the respective semester (nine semester credit hours per fall or spring semester, or as required in other sessions).
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications
Graduate Assistant Instructor position is available to full‑time graduate students with 18 hours of graduate English coursework prior to Fall 2025.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference to students in the MA English program on the Literatures & Cultural Studies track.
GTA or GA experience preferred.
