Position Summary
Directs the activities of the PACCAR Parts' distribution network (Brasil & Panama), Materials Planning, Customer Services, Capital Budget, and Operations Support to support sales in South America
**Responsibilities**:
Oversees two Distribution Centers and future additions as well as the South Americas Operation's Support team, which consists of MDI. Logistics and Materials
Establish Industry leading Customer Service support is achieved in Brasil.
Works with counterparts in North America, Europe & South America to ensure consistent standards are applied across the distribution network.
Works closely with Sales, Marketing, Accounting, and General Management to effect long-term Division direction and success.
Establish and achieve appropriate goals and objectives for all responsible operational departments/units.
Directs projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Establishes operating metrics and establishes goals to strive for state-of-the-art operational performance.
**Qualifications**:
Degree in business administration or related field. MBA preferred.
Knowledge of logistics, inventory control, customer service and distribution gained through twelve to fifteen years related management experience including international operations experience.
Demonstrated ability to meet operational objectives that support division sales and service goals while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Demonstrated leadership skills. Must possess ability to motivate and develop employees.
Strong organization skills. Must have ability to multi-task.
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential. Must have excellent presentation and influencing ability.
Strong PC skills.
Must be able to meet extensive travel requirements.
