Our startup is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Software Developer to create commercial-grade software. This role requires 3+ years of experience working in a small team, having strong problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
The ideal candidate will work on end-to-end outsourced yard and transportation management solutions for various sectors, including retail, manufacturing and distribution.
Yard management involves organizing, planning and controlling the movement of vehicles, containers and assets within a warehouse or facility. Key tasks include scheduling operations, tracking asset locations, managing gate access and sequencing loads.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain legacy PHP/MySQL applications
* Design high-quality front- and back-end product features
* Develop integrations using external and internal APIs
* Apply good development practices following team standards
* Build and execute unit tests
* Address defects during testing cycles
* Participate in daily standups and meetings
* Collaborate with stakeholders on building market-winning products
Required Experience:
* Excellent English communication skills
* Minimum 3 years of Full-Stack software development experience using JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, MySQL
* Experience building production applications
* Background building and consuming REST services
* Solid understanding of modern programming fundamentals
* Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities
Desired Experience:
* University degree or equivalent education
* Experience working with AWS
* Familiarity with container orchestration
