Delivery Excellence Specialist
We're seeking an experienced Delivery Excellence Specialist to drive execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives in agile engineering environments. This role sits at the center of business, product, and engineering — translating priorities into action, driving clarity, and ensuring work is delivered with quality and consistency.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, navigating ambiguity, and keeping teams aligned and moving.
Job Responsibilities
* Own end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives, from planning through execution and completion
* Build and manage delivery plans, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource coordination
* Partner closely with engineering teams to manage work intake, backlog grooming, prioritization, and task tracking (Jira)
* Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear updates and driving alignment across teams
* Identify and mitigate risks, resolve blockers, and adjust plans as priorities evolve
* Facilitate working sessions, stand-ups, planning meetings, and stakeholder workshops as needed
* Support prioritization decisions by providing delivery insights, trade-offs, and impact analysis
* Continuously improve delivery processes, tools, and ways of working to increase efficiency and predictability
* Track and report on delivery progress using appropriate metrics and tools
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience leading delivery for complex projects or initiatives
* Strong experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar)
* Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog management and delivery tracking
* Proven ability to work effectively with engineering teams and business stakeholders
* Strong communication skills and comfort working in a client-facing role
* Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and bring structure and clarity
* Experience supporting prioritization, change management, and delivery trade-offs
* Basic SQL skills and familiarity with finance or accounting concepts are a plus, but not required
