Patent Paralegal Project Manager: Delivering Intellectual Property Excellence

This role involves overseeing and managing patent filing requests, working closely with clients, translators, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, scope adherence, and high-quality results. Responsibilities include coordinating various aspects of patent filings, including budgeting, scheduling, docketing, document submission, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of documents required for EP, PCT, and foreign applications.
* Proactive initiation of responses to official communications and notifications.
* Filing of EP/international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant.
* Maintenance of timely deadlines for assigned cases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in a law firm or corporate setting.
* Experience working with EP, PCT, and foreign applications.
* Strong organizational, leadership, and management abilities.
* Significant experience managing complex projects.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A successful track record of collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows.
* Proficiency in CAT tools (memoQ fluency a plus) and various Machine Translation engines.
* Ability to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance.
* Skilled at training internal and external users in MTPE & TM workflows.
* Skilled at vendor recruitment and negotiations.
