Job Description
This is a contract remote role for an Audio Editor. The Audio Editor will be responsible for editing audio files, enhancing sound quality, implementing sound design, adding music, and ensuring overall quality control.
The role involves working closely with the content team to maintain brand consistency and meet deadlines efficiently.
* Edit raw audio into polished episodes
* Remove filler words and off-topic tangents
* Improve pacing, clarity, and flow
* Restructure sections when needed
* Insert intro/outro, sponsor reads, disclaimers, or updates
* Deliver clean final files on deadline
* Produce short clips per episode for marketing use
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Experience editing long-form podcasts
* Strong editorial judgment
* Excellent attention to detail
* Comfortable working with physician and expert-level conversations
* Familiarity with tools like Descript, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Logic, or similar
