About this Role
We're seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to lead our online presence and engage with thousands of users passionate about digital privacy.
This full-time, remote position is ideal for candidates based in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, or Peru, reporting directly to our Marketing Director and closely collaborating with our Community Manager.
* Content Strategy: Plan, create, and maintain a dynamic content calendar—crafting posts, short-form videos, and visual assets aligned with our brand.
* Creative Coordination: Develop or brief multimedia content (graphics, infographics, videos) ensuring consistent, professional brand messaging.
* Community Engagement: Proactively respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions, transforming interactions into positive brand experiences.
* Growth & Analysis: Execute campaigns to drive follower growth and engagement; regularly analyze performance metrics (reach, CTR, follower growth) to optimize content.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and Community teams to share insights, launch coordinated campaigns, and pilot new platform features or strategies.
About You
We're looking for a highly skilled Social Media Manager with 1-2 years of experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or X). You'll need to be fluent in English (written and spoken), with proficiency in Spanish a plus. Excellent copywriting skills are essential, as well as proficiency with scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and basic multimedia creation/editing (Capcut, Canva, Adobe Spark).
* Must-Have: Experience managing social media platforms, fluency in English, excellent copywriting skills, and proficiency with scheduling tools and multimedia creation/editing.
* Nice-to-Have: Advanced graphic design or video editing skills, experience with paid social media advertising and A/B testing, background or interest in privacy, tech, fintech, or related fields, proven success running high-engagement or viral social media campaigns, and experience managing public feedback or crisis communications.
