**About the role**:
We are looking for a technical sales consultant who will be responsible for leading our technical efforts from a technical development and manufacturing support perspective to develop our coatings and excipients capabilities in Barueri.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Be the ‘go to’ technical expert on film coatings and other related excipients manufactured in Barueri
- Ensures growth of EUM & technology through Innovation in line with market requirements and business strategy.
- Carry out competitor & product awareness analysis.
- Develop innovative solutions to help grow customer and Kerry’s market within cost parameters, manufacturing capability whilst ensuring all new products are legal within country of use.
- Managing projects/briefs as allocated ensuring deadlines are met.
- Provide our customers with the best available products through developing an understanding the market, manufacturing capabilities, ingredient restrictions etc.
- Work with Supply Chain and other in Barueri to ensure new products are commercialized effectively.
- Ensure lab equipment is in good working order and fit for purpose.
- Supervisory responsibility and ownership of personal development for lab technician(s).
- Support the sales team when assistance with technical support is needed.
- Assist with production issues and procurement of new raw materials as necessary to support our film coating business.
**Qualifications and skills**:
- BS/MS in Sciences or Engineering.
- Applicable film coating and excipients experience.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams at multi levels within the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching and conflict management skills
- Languages: Spanish, Portuguese, English.
