The SAP Technical Cutover Manager role is a high-level position that requires strong leadership and technical skills.
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end SAP technical activities, including co-leading with K-C leadership and PMO to guide the project team through successfully going live with localization and deployment of a previously built greenfield global template of SAP S/4HANA in the RISE private cloud on Microsoft Azure to K-C business segments in Asia.
* You will lead and coordinate technical SAP localization and deployment tasks throughout the project life cycle, including technical landscape readiness, completion of remaining SAP build configuration and development activities, and completion of technical activities to localize SAP S/4HANA according to regional requirements in Asia.
* You will collaborate with K-C leadership, project managers, functional leads, technical platform leads, SAP developers, and business stakeholders to complete all technical activities in a pre-planned and pre-defined sequence to ensure alignment with project goals, milestones, and specific deliverables.
* You will manage and document traceability between technical requirements, business requirements, completion of deliverables that meet requirements, testing activities, and defect resolution through go-live and into hypercare.
* You will provide leadership and mentorship to other cutover business and technical team members and adhere to SAP S/4HANA cutover best practices and standards.
You will track and report technical cutover preparation and progress, risks, actions, issues, and decisions to project leadership through Microsoft Asure DevOps (ADO) project management tool, meetings, emails, and project documents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in SAP technical cutover management, with at least 5 years in a technical cutover or related technical leadership role.
* Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, BW, and more) and their integration points.
* Prior hands-on experience with SAP configuration, development, implementation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical defects is required for this Technical Cutover Manager to manage all technical activities of other technical cutover resources.
* Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
