Remote Sales and Business Development Representative Opportunity

This role offers a chance to join our dynamic team as a remote sales and business development representative. As a self-driven and results-oriented individual, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a persuasive demeanor, and the ability to effectively engage prospects and close deals. You will research and identify potential clients and industries to target, develop and execute outreach campaigns using email, phone calls, and social media, and schedule and conduct virtual discovery meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs and present our solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Business Development and Lead Generation
o Research and identify potential clients and industries to target.
o Develop and execute outreach campaigns using email, phone calls, and social media.
o Schedule and conduct virtual discovery meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs and present our solutions.
2. Sales Strategy and Execution
o Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
o Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
o Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
3. Client Relationship Management
o Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to foster trust and loyalty.
o Act as the main point of contact for prospective clients during the sales process.
o Work closely with the operations team to ensure a seamless handoff and excellent client onboarding experience.
4. Market Representation and Brand Promotion
o Represent the company as a trusted partner for outsourced bookkeeping and tax services.
o Participate in virtual networking events and webinars to connect with potential clients and partners.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content and campaigns that drive engagement and brand awareness.
5. Reporting and Administration
o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress in the CRM system.
o Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends.
o Stay up to date on industry developments to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in sales, telemarketing, appointment setting, or a similar role, preferably in professional services, accounting, or finance.
* Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport over the phone or video call.
* Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
* Strong ability to research and identify opportunities, analyze market trends, and develop targeted outreach strategies.
* Remote work experience, with the ability to manage time, priorities, and communication effectively without direct supervision.
* Comfortable leveraging digital tools such as Slack, Zoom, and marketing automation software to optimize sales efforts.
* CRM proficiency, with hands-on experience using CRM software (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) for managing leads, tracking sales activities, and analyzing performance.
* Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Self-starter, highly motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for results.
* Positive attitude and self-motivated approach to work.
* Relationship builder, with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish trust, foster loyalty, and build long-term relationships.
* Adaptable and resilient, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment and overcoming challenges with a positive attitude.
* Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to changing processes and strategies.

Work Environment

Location: Remote

Monday – Friday 9-5 PM PST (8 hours per day)

90-day probationary period as PT (4 hours per day)

System Requirements

* At least 20mbps for main internet and at least 10mbps for backup.
* A desktop or laptop that has an i5 processor with at least 8 GB RAM and an i3 processor for backup.
* Note: Back-ups should still be able to function when there is a power interruption.
* A webcam.
* Noise-canceling USB Headset.
* Quiet, Dedicated Home Office.
