We are seeking an exceptional Podcast Audio Editor to join our team. As a key member of our content creation team, you will be responsible for editing podcast audio files, enhancing sound quality, implementing sound design, adding music and ensuring overall quality control for each episode.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience editing long-form podcasts (interview or narrative style), strong editorial judgment, excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. You should be comfortable working with physician and expert-level conversations and have fast, reliable turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities
1. Edit raw podcast audio into polished broadcast-ready episodes
2. Remove filler words false starts redundancies off-topic tangents
3. Improve pacing clarity flow without changing the speaker's voice or intent
4. Restructure sections when needed based on how questions were answered
5. Insert intro/outro sponsor reads disclaimers or updates when required Follow embedded audio notes written instructions carefully Deliver clean final WAV/MP3 files on deadline Produce 3–4 short clips per episode marketing use Support up to two rounds edits per episode requested
