Job Responsibilities Develop and customize Shopify themes to build visually appealing and user-friendly online storefronts. Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experiences across all devices. Integrate third-party and internal APIs to enhance site functionality and maintain seamless operations. Collaborate with designers and other developers to translate project requirements into functional web elements.
Optimize websites in compliance with SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility. Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues to ensure site reliability and performance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Shopify features and e Commerce trends to incorporate best practices. Required Qualifications 2-3 years of experience for Intermediate level or 5+ years for Senior level in Shopify development. Proficiency in Liquid templating, Java Script, CSS, and HTML. Solid understanding of e Commerce development and platform capabilities. Ability to communicate effectively in English at an intermediate to fluent level. College degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in related disciplines.
Experience with advanced Shopify features such as Shopify Plus.
Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks related to front-end or back-end development.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Prior experience working in agile or scrum environments.
