Both market sectors require similar engineering skill sets, and our breadth of experience in offshore structures and environments allows us to provide expertise at all stages of a project: feasibility and concept design, detailed design, procurement management, fabrication support, installation support, monitoring, integrity management, asset life extension and decommissioning. Duties - Implement and manage document control procedures aligned with company and client standards - Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing documentation, including engineering deliverables, technical reports, and correspondence - Ensure version control, document traceability, and appropriate metadata tagging across all project files - Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management, and external stakeholders to manage document workflows and approvals - Monitor document deadlines and ensure timely distribution of critical information - Conduct regular audits to verify compliance and data integrity - Train team members on document control systems and best practices as required - Interface with client document control systems, ensuring consistency and alignment - Support preparation of project handovers, final documentation, and close-out packages Required - Proven experience as a document controller in the oil & gas or offshore engineering sector, ideally with exposure to subsea projects - Strong understanding of document control standards, numbering systems, and ISO-based procedures - Proficiency in document management platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, OpenText, or client-specific DMS) - Strong communication skills in English - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, technical environment - Familiarity with engineering terminology and project documentation (e.g., drawings, MTOs, technical specs) - Degree or diploma in engineering, administration, or related field is preferred Location Rio de Janeiro Work Country Brazil
