As a key member of our team, you will oversee and manage patent filing requests, working closely with clients, translators, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, within scope, and to the highest standards.

Your role involves coordinating various aspects of patent filings, including budgeting, scheduling, docketing, document submission, and quality assurance. This is a full-time, remote position, working in Pacific Standard Time (United States time zone). You must commit to working Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm PST. Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required for this role, as you will work with English-speaking teammates and clients.

This role entails several key responsibilities:

* Preparing all documents necessary for EP, PCT, and foreign applications;
* Proactively initiating responses to official communications and notifications;
* Coordinating filings of EP/international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant;
* Monitoring cases and ensuring timely compliance with deadlines.

To excel in this position, you will require:

* A minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting;
* Experience working with EP, PCT, and foreign applications;
* Strong organizational, leadership, and management abilities;
* Skill in managing complex projects;
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
* A successful track record of collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications include:

* Experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows;
* Proficiency in CAT tools, particularly memoQ, and various Machine Translation engines;
* The ability to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance;
* Skill in training users on MTPE & TM workflows;
* Ability to recruit and negotiate with vendors.
