Join our IT Master Data team and contribute to the reliability, integrity, and consistency of master data supporting the new Brazil operating model. As a Master Data Support Analyst, you will provide functional and technical Level 2 support on the Master Data Management (MDM) platform, focusing on maintaining referential data objects using the EBX tool and associated middleware layers. You will act as a key liaison between global MDM teams, shared services centers, and Brazil-based business stakeholders, ensuring compliance with corporate and local Data Governance rules and standards. In addition to Level 2 support, you will participate in operational data quality initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and user training, collaborating across departments to support efficient business operations and sustained data excellence. Service is provided in English.
Your missions:
Investigate and resolve master data integration issues by conducting detailed root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor overall data quality health and proactively propose, plan, and coordinate data cleansing campaigns aligned with Brazil-specific business rules and global data standards.
Perform advanced Level 2 troubleshooting, including middleware log analysis, payload simulation (SOAP UI, Postman), SQL querying, XML/JSON interpretation, and support of infrastructure operations when required.
Act as the subject matter expert for the EBX platform, providing guidance on configuration changes, enhancements, testing activities, and local customizations supporting the Brazil business model.
Enforce Data Governance rules and standards to ensure master data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across systems and functional domains.
Contribute to Non-Regression Testing (NRT) campaigns, functional and integration testing, and continuous improvement initiatives linked to MDM processes and tooling.
Maintain, enhance, and document user guides, runbooks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); actively participate in or deliver training sessions to promote best practices and user adoption.
Provide regular reporting on issue status, data quality metrics, cleansing campaigns, and project progress to the Service Delivery Manager and relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with key users across Accounting, Trading, Credit, and other business domains to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, compliant MDM solutions aligned with Brazil's business strategy.
Interface effectively with Level 1 support teams, global MDM leads, IT teams, and outsourced partners to ensure smooth operations, timely issue resolution, and high-quality service delivery.
Your profile:
Solid background in Master Data Management, data quality, or user support.
Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts.
Familiarity with middleware tools, SOAP UI, Postman, SQL, XML, and JSON troubleshooting.
Proven ability to analyze complex issues and synthesize actionable insights.
Academic background: supply chain management, logistics, business administration, finance, or equivalent.
English fluent. Portuguese is a plus.
Knowledge of SDLC of an application.
Awareness of Brazil-specific regulatory, tax, and data protection requirements and ability to apply them to MDM practices.
Experience with API testing tools (SOAP UI, Postman) for payload simulation and testing.
Experience running and analyzing SQL queries.
Experience reading and interpreting XML and JSON files.
Experience with MDM platforms and tools.
Familiarity with monitoring logs and data flow in middleware and integration layers.
Experience with ITSM platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow (SNOW), or similar for incident and problem management.
Experience with MS Tools and manipulating and analyzing data with Excel.
You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, a self-driven and customer-focused attitude, agility in learning, sound decision-making capabilities, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Flexibility to adapt to tight deadlines and a strong cross-cultural mindset for effective collaboration with global teams. Willingness to travel if necessary.
