About the Position:
We are looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to join the Green Technologies Finance team, reporting directly to the Plant Controller. The position is based at our office in Cabo de Santo Agostinho. As the Junior Finance Specialist, you will be a key partner for the Plant Controller and support all aspects of financial planning, forecast, budget, analysis, and reporting.
Your Responsibilities:
Assist the Plant Controller in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports;
Collect, validate, and analyze financial and operational data to support decision‑making;
Participate in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis;
Support cost monitoring, control, and reporting activities;
Help ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures;
Support audits and internal reviews by providing requested documentation and analysis;
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance function;
Prepare presentations and reports for management meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field;
Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
Fluency in English.
Other Skills We Would Welcome:
Master’s degree;
International experience;
Fluency in a language other than mother tongue and English;
Proficiency in SAP/ERP;
Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, others);
Proficiency with One Stream modules.
Expectations from You:
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively;
Analytical approach and good data management;
Proactivity, accuracy, and attention to detail;
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including management of large databases in Excel (e.g., pivot tables; VBA macro as a plus) and PowerPoint.
