Job Overview
The Risk Management Officer position is a critical role within our organization, responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive risk management framework across various types of risks.
The ideal candidate will possess senior-level experience in financial or prudential risk management, preferably within the financial industry. A strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards is essential.
* Key responsibilities include:
o Conducting thorough risk assessments through stress testing, scenario analysis, and capital adequacy evaluations.
The selected individual will have a strong understanding of risk management principles, including market, liquidity, operational, and technology risks. They will be responsible for developing and implementing policies to mitigate these risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Additionally, the Risk Management Officer will oversee Margin-Account Operations, including policy development, loan-to-value ratios, collateral valuation, and counterparty exposures. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management practices are implemented throughout the organization.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must have a solid understanding of risk management concepts, including:
* Financial risk management techniques, such as stress testing and scenario analysis.
* Regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management.
* Operational risk management principles, including incident response and mitigation strategies.
* Technology risk management best practices, including data security and cybersecurity protocols.
Experience working in the financial industry, particularly in risk management, is highly desirable. A degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration, is also preferred.
