Service Deliver Manager (SDM) role for SCO is accountable to secure that Quality and cost of the materials delivered across the value chain are in accordance to the service business rules. The SDM should ensure a good alignment between the teams in Sales, Inventory & Operational Planning (SI&OP), the regional Supply Chain Operations and the Service Business Units (SBUs) by following standardized processes, using official tools and following the SCO governance model across the value chain. The SDM understand the End-to-End value chain, participate in regular regional performance review meetings, identify and performance improvement initiatives and take firm actions to mitigate the risks of delivery delay in coordination with SI&OP and the regional SCO teams responsible for the various parts of the delivery.
**Responsibilities**
- Interface within E2E supply chain of parts to improve performance and reduce cost (SIOP, Multibrand Sourcing, Transport & custom, Global Procurement, Global Repair, TSS...)
- Point of contact for Service SBUs regarding stocks updates, main components kanban, inventory provisions.
- Review & updating safety stock levels to improve availability of parts and optimize inventory turns
- Supervise tasks in support of SCO performance related to planning i.e. Evaluate missed expedited/redirected deliveries, inventory increases, etc.
- Examine delivery performance misses, Identify factors through root cause and Pareto
- Evaluate stocking strategies; Rounding Values, Minimum Order Quantities & forecasts in SAP in order to identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain Regional Kanban levels initiating replenishment of high value Main Components
- Partner with our regional Service Business Unit (SBU) to obtain and validate demand forecasts for contractual and aftermarket sales support
- Examine Recommended Spare Part List discrepancies and define initial safety stock suggestion for service locations
- Examine stock categorization and provisions, setting a monetary ceiling of stocks
- Implement mass enrichment request in new markets or new platforms in advance
- Evaluate forecasted and actual impacts to regional working capital (inventory) at the regional level
- Define and monitor surplus return plan from Service sites in order to achieve the defined target
- Evaluate and segment excess and dead categories and propose scrap plans and great sales efforts to keep optimal and accurate inventory
- Coordinate the RCCM to meet inventory budget
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Planning role with proven experience in large value inventories
- Expertise in SAP ERP 5.7 or above is required. Minimum 5 years' experience
- MS Office
- Proficient in standard data analytical tools such as Excel, Access, and SQL (Marco's level preferred);
**Competencies**
Knowledge of root cause/corrective action practices
Knowledge of spare parts and repair/defect material LEAN inventory planning, and impacts to cash flow in the form of inventory in a service environment
Knowledge of wind industry or similar service support industry is beneficial
Demonstrated success in understanding and implementing planning models directly and through simulation; inventory strategies, balancing business cost management and customer needs.
