Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to support and enhance a greenfield Calypso instance. As a key member of our team, you will establish a comprehensive approach to defining, setting up, or troubleshooting issues arising from day-to-day activities on this instance.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing necessary solutions to Back Office (BO) / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements, creating and delivering assigned projects/tasks, and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. You will also be responsible for managing and establishing methodology and best practices for BO / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements.
A significant aspect of your role will involve ensuring supporting documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored, while working closely with relevant business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s). Additionally, you will submit status reports to stakeholders and coordinate updates to steering committees.
To achieve clear outcomes/deliverables in relation to the strategic and transformational book of work, you will collaborate with key functional or business stakeholders. Furthermore, you will manage deliverables, ensuring transparency of risks, issues, and dependencies that are fully aligned to functional/business owners.
In addition to these responsibilities, you may also act as a business analyst to help the team gather and write requirements and acceptance criteria.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience working in Capital Markets and on Calypso
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles
* Deep Knowledge of Financial products cross assets
* Proven track record of delivery of accounting and finance related solutions (settings) within Calypso
* Experience of adherence to governance frameworks/implementation and handover to BAU
* Comprehensive knowledge of trade flow, trading systems, and related concepts and technology, including valuation and client/market risk management
* Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure the requirements from the business are gathered in the appropriate manner.
