Overview
The Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team plays an essential role in translating Microsoft's Commercial Strategy into a local execution plan and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible.
Our team drives cross-Region, cross-Area, and cross-Subsidiary insight and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling Microsoft to deliver business impact at scale.
In this role, you will specialize in the needs and opportunities within one of Microsoft's critical US Geographies.

The Segment Go-to-Market (GTM) Product Marketing Manager role is critical to driving customer adoption at scale, driven by deep industry domain, product truth, and partnerships with sales, marketing, operations, and sales excellence.
We're looking for a highly driven, motivated marketing individual to join our GTM team.
This role requires someone who acts as a thought leader, tracks success criteria and performance metrics, and works with emergent technology.
They will create alignment across teams, move roadblocks, and simplify complex concepts, thriving on big challenges.

Responsibilities

Product Advocacy: Acts as a primary spokesperson and product evangelist, leveraging product, industry, market, and competitive knowledge to develop localized strategies, position the value proposition, and tailor messaging for internal and external audiences.
Provides guidance to sales and shares expertise to guide partners.
Business Management: Builds and drives business strategy, tracks efficacy of plans, and accepts accountability for KPIs.
Aligns with stakeholders, shares data-driven insights, and adapts information based on changing priorities.
Go-to-Market Strategy, Planning, and Delivery: Creates and orchestrates strategic GTM plans, collaborates with partners, defines KPIs, and supports growth plans.
Develops competitive strategies and manages stakeholder engagement.
Field Enablement: Partners with sales for enablement, develops sales programs, and provides leadership to equip teams with necessary skills and resources.
Business Development: Supports growth opportunities, develops strategies to maximize performance, and builds relationships with stakeholders to operationalize strategies.
Specialty Responsibilities: Manages alignment between engineering, sales, and product teams, and proactively manages transition plans.
Qualifications
Minimum:

8+ years in marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, or related fields.
5+ years managing and expanding product/solution portfolios in complex organizations.
Preferred:

8+ years in relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Experience with demand generation, pipeline acceleration, and working with partners to remove blockers.
Excellent communication skills at all levels, including C-level.
Understanding of Microsoft Cloud or other public cloud platforms, cloud migration, and modernization.
Knowledge of enterprise software solutions and cloud infrastructure competitors like AWS and GCP.
Understanding of partner ecosystems and leveraging partner solutions.
