This is a unique opportunity to impact the evolution of artificial intelligence by applying your skills and creativity to innovative data collection projects.Key Responsibilities:Perform a variety of scripted prompts designed to elicit specific emotions from the Recommended Emotions DictionaryRecord approximately 3.5 hours of targeted audio-video content in collaboration with actors from diverse backgroundsWork in dyads, pairing with another actor based on availability, to create realistic and dynamic interactionsEnsure all recordings are conducted in quiet, well-lit environments using high-quality cameras and device microphonesFollow precise technical protocols including ambient-noise checks, hand-clap sync for audio-video alignment, and use of Zoom’s separate audio file recording featureCommunicate clearly and professionally, both in written and verbal formats, with the team and fellow actorsParticipate in the vetting process to ensure equipment standards and contribute feedback for process improvementQualifications:Proven experience in acting, dramatic performance, or drama-based rolesExceptional ability to portray a wide spectrum of emotions authentically and convincinglyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAccess to a 1080p (or higher) camera compatible with Zoom for high-quality video recording, adequate lighting, and a reliable device microphoneAbility to follow technical instructions and strict data collection protocolsComfortable working independently and in pairs, remotely, with minimal supervisionAttention to detail for maintaining clean, high-fidelity audio and video recordingsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with audio-video data collection, especially for AI or machine learning applicationsBackground in remote work or virtual collaborations with global teamsStrong interest in technology and supporting the advancement of AIAbout RYZ Labs:RYZ Labs is a startup studio built in 2021 by two lifelong entrepreneurs.
