Responsibilities:Build and refine the logic that powers surge activation—across restaurant-level, zone-level, and event-based triggers; Collaborate with product and BI to define surge eligibility rules, thresholds, and automation opportunities; Monitor system performance to evaluate if surge logic is correctly balancing cost, availability, and service quality; Identify edge cases and problem patterns across markets (e.G. rainy days, local festivals) and work on systematic response models; Benchmark industry practices and propose improvements to current surge framework; Liaise with regional and city leads to gather operational feedback and translate that into product requirements; Document SOPs and build dashboards/tools that track surge effectiveness and fleet responsiveness over time.Requirements:3–5 years in supply/ops strategy, product ops, or logistics planning (food delivery, ride-hailing, Q-commerce preferred); Proven track record of designing or optimizing operational frameworks—not just running them. Experience in freelance-heavy or gig-based labor markets a strong advantage; Strong analytical and systems thinking skills; and comfort with data dashboards, basic product flows; Can synthesize on-ground feedback into scalable SOPs and product recommendations.
