Position Summary:We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in a key role responsible for maintaining and enhancing Logistics Operations with our Third Party warehouses and Nespresso.
As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will be an integral part of our NCE (Nestle Continuous Excellence) initiative, actively monitoring KPIs, ensuring compliance, conducting audits, providing exceptional internal customer service, and leading process improvement and cost savings projects.In this dynamic position, your primary focus will be on Logistics Resource Planning, ensuring optimal capacity, maintaining compliance, and driving NCE principles throughout the logistics operations.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This role will require you to work onsite fulltime 5 days a week Monday-Friday.Key Responsibilities:Marketing and Promotions - Logistics Resource PlanningKey logistics support for marketing and promotional activity by collaborating in weekly activity meetingsLeads daily order volume forecasting for 3PL and tracks 3PL daily order fulfillment performanceEnsures 3PL has all promotional details and that inventory is in place at all DCs time of promotionEscalates operational related issues to leadership prior to promotion to limit cost and complaint issuesCompliance - Safety, Quality, Audits, Internal ControlsLeads safety and quality compliance within 3PL operations, ensuring working environments are up to Nestle SOPsEnsures all safety related issues are root caused, resolved, and escalated to the appropriate partiesEnsures 3PL DCs are prepared and excel in all compliance related audits (i.e. TQM, RSA,ISO etc)Leads all internal audit preparation (i.e. NMA/NGA/NQMS) and is capable to answer audit questionsOngoing support of TQM and F&C internal controls team to improve supply chain processesNCE - Ops Reviews, OMP, Process ImprovementNCE participant in Weekly and Monthly Operational Reviews at national levelParticipates in the annual 3PL Operations Master Plan (OMP)Ensures the high priority issues are reviewed, actions are implemented, and resolutions are sustainedParticipates in GEMBA, LER, and other process improvement activities as project leaderOperations and Consumer ComplaintsOversees daily order fulfillment backlog and determines when DCs need to be shutoff due to backlogLeads logistics consumer complaints process and resolution for B2C and TradeFacilitates weekly and monthly complaint reviews with key stakeholders at Nespresso and 3PLEnsures 3PL and Nespresso teams are identifying root causes and solutions for consumer complaintsLeads the 3PL engagement program by developing and implementing processes for recognizing employeesApproves daily stock adjustments for Logistics Operations TeamLeads Pick-to-Light SKU slotting by issuing weekly planogram for 3PL based on marketing plansOther Responsibilities:Supports daily logistics related requests from 3PL, HQ, Marketing, TQM, B2C, Trade and Internal ControlsQuarterly inventory count auditor at Main DCParticipates in warehouse visits and tours for visitors (i.e. planning, lead when manager is unavailable, etc)Review, update, implement, and sustain SOPs and Procedures for Operations and SystemsLeads special projects related to fulfillment, systems, and 3PL operationsEnsures after hours coverage as needed for order flow issues and during peak periods and month-endBack Fill for other Logistics SpecialistsPrimary backfill for teammates as neededExperience & Education Requirements:BA/BS Degree required (Industrial Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent preferred).
At least 3 years of supply chain, manufacturing/distribution/warehouse operations, inventory control, or physical logistics experience, preferredProfessional Experience in Logistics/EDI/Stock Reconciliation and dealing with 3rd Party WarehousingEvidence of successful process improvement leadership in operations and/or supply chain preferredStrong working knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange and Warehouse Management Systems preferredDMAIC/GSTD experience preferred.Preferably previous experiences in consumer goods industry and/or B2C, retail logisticsFlexibility and adaptability to the demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.Ability to work on and lead multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.Change management and leadership skills with client's at all organizational levels.Strong communication and presentation skills.Ability to identify and resolve operations and logistics business issues at the floor level.High proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Up to 15% travel.The approximate pay range for this position is $73,000.00 to $83,000.00.
