The Associate Structural Design Engineer will join Boeing Commercial Aircraft Structure team who provide support for the primary and secondary structure of the 7 series Boeing Fleets.Position Responsibilities:Guides product design, develops, integrates and documents structural and interior payload requirements to establish the system design.Develops, maintains and modifies structural and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.Develops new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.Must have a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace / Aeronautical, Civil, or Material Science Engineering.Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English LanguagePreferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):Relevant experience with validating or verifying structural models.Relevant experience with structural design principles for aircraft.Relevant experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Relevant experience with design and analysis of metallic and/or composite materials.Programming Skills.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
