Senior IT Operations Specialist
We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Operations Specialist to oversee the planning, design, and implementation of efficient CI/CD pipelines for our data lake architecture.
* Main Responsibilities:
* • Design and implement robust Azure DevOps pipelines for automation, artifact management, and continuous integration across multiple repositories.
* • Develop and enforce Terraform governance patterns for infrastructure as code, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
* • Manage Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 hierarchical namespace and ACL models to ensure secure data storage and access control.
* • Implement Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and Spark solutions for large-scale data processing and analytics.
* • Configure Azure Functions, Key Vault, and networking components (VNets, private endpoints, firewalls) for secure data transfer and access.
* • Monitor performance using Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor stacks, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
* • Utilize PowerShell, Python, and Bash scripting languages to automate tasks and develop custom tools.
* • Implement security controls, including RBAC, managed identities, secrets management, and encryption, to protect sensitive data.
* • Collaborate with development teams to design CI/CD patterns, release strategies, and automated testing frameworks.
* • Leverage Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow tools for project management, collaboration, and issue tracking.
Bonus Points: If you have experience working in a similar role, possess certifications like AWS Certified Developer or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, or hold a degree in Computer Science or related field.
