If you identify with the description below, please apply for the position via the provided link:The Marine Electrician must always ensure the safe and reliable operation of onboard electrical/electronic equipment, in compliance with the instructions of the Chief Engineer and the Second Engineer, as well as understanding the higher hierarchical levels for responsibilities and future instructions.The electrician's duties include ensuring:Safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations, maintenance, and repair of the vessel and technical facilities in accordance with the Chief Engineer’s instructions, relevant legislation, and the Company's Safety Management System.Awareness, compliance, and implementation of company policies regarding health and safety, environment, quality, protection, and the consumption of cigarettes, drugs, and alcohol.Knowledge about the responsibilities and obligations as required by the Safety Management System procedures.Keeping the Chief Engineer, Ship Management Team, and other onboard roles well-informed to coordinate and control activities, maximizing safety, quality, and environmental protection.Conducting duties in the company's best interest and under the guidance of the Second Engineer.Reporting defects, non-conformities, and other issues to the Second Engineer that may affect safe operations or pose health and safety or pollution risks, quality of work, or operational efficiency.Staying informed about all matters related to vessel operations within their areas of responsibility.Requirements:Relevant technical courses for the roleEnglish proficiency will be considered an advantageBackground in electronics will be considered an advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
