We are looking for a passionate Senior Unity Real-time VFX Artist that specializes in hand drawn and stylized VFX to join our team. What you will do: - Create visually stunning and stylistically consistent VFX with Unity - Create relevant VFX assets such as textures, static meshes and shaders - Collaborate with other creative disciplines and engineers to create visual effects that support gameplay systems - Create concepts, describe and develop ideas for visual effect - Optimize effects for performance on multiple platforms Requirements: - At least 4 years of experience working in the videogame industry - Deep knowledge in animation and art sense (colour, shape, ratio, timing ) - Good knowledge of artistic VFX principles - Expert level experience with Unity VFX creation - Team player, great communication and collaboration skills - Proactive and open to finding creative solutions - Fluent in English - Ability to independently and creatively solve VFX technical issues - Highly Skilled with Photoshop, Substance or other texture authoring tools - Use of 3D software like Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, Houdini for mesh creation - Knowledge of Unity render pipelines Shader authoring skills using node based editors like shader graph or amplify shader Desirable skills with: - Houdini - Experience in hand-drawing flip-books - Embergen/liquigen - Basic programming in C# - Simple animations in 3D tools - Experience with VFX graph - Substance designer Benefits - Project based fully remote position - Be part of an international group with offices worldwide - Career growth and development - Working closely with a team of like-minded people in a fast-paced, multicultural environment - Ongoing training and professional self-improvement opportunities - Flexible working hours - An inclusive culture and open communication At Magic Media, our passion lies in gaming.
