For This Position You Will Be Responsible For


* Lead the Automation Solutions business within the PPS (Pulp and Paper) Market segment. Drive business development initiatives focused on high-value, performance-driven solutions tailored to customer needs.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and developing customized sales strategies for key Pulp and Paper customers. Prospect and develop Pulp and Paper customer dedicated sales solutions related to Automation Solutions portfolio, promote current and new technology to drive business growth.
* Proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities (“hunter” mind-set) and maintain and develop new business at specific customer area location (“Farmer” mind-set).
* Perform high-quality analyses of customer production process to identify new potential opportunities. Perform in-depth research to understand technical requirements, define best solution scopes in collaboration with product group, and ensure alignment with customer needs. Maintain a deep understanding of customer performance, production workflows, and organizational structures.
* Manage the Sales Objective settings, target and KPI’s achievements, sales tools up dating, customer relationship maintenance and sales strategy implementation.
* Provide sales forecast/budget for assigned accounts including competitor analysis.
* Define and guarantee the budget of Sales and Marketing costs.
* Work together AS Service organization to guarantee PPS Service business growth and Customer satisfaction.
* Retain and intensify long-term PPS customer relationships with established accounts Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
* Stay up-to-date with competitor position and activities.
* Work complexity and business impact: Works independently to complete given assignments, dealing with local partners that have some impact on the business.
* Ensure the complice with all HSE, legal and other Valmet Rules and procedures.

In addition, to succeed in this position, you should have:

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Chemical, Process or related areas.
* Pulp and Paper Post Graduation.
* Strong background in Pulp & Paper Production.
* Strong background in Pulp & Making Process.
* Strong knowledge of B2B Sales experience.
* Knowledge of Automation Solutions applications.
* Experience in Pulp & Paper market business prospection.
* Advanced English.
* Fluent Portuguese.
* Availability for travels.
* Geographic mobility (the main location of this position will be Araucária/PR, but candidates from other cities and states may be considered if the professional background is aligned with the position requirements).
* Hands-on attitude and problem-solving, proactive service mindset, ability to communicate both with internal and external customers.
