About the Company:
We are a consumer electronics trading company with operations that connect the Manaus technology manufacturing hub to the São Paulo retail market. We are looking for an analytical professional who understands that accounting goes beyond bookkeeping and is a strategic tool for decision-making.
Responsibilities:
* Perform classification, reconciliation, and accounting entries for complex operations (Manufacturing and Retail).
* Calculate direct and indirect taxes under the Lucro Real tax regime.
* Analyze cost of goods sold (COGS) variances and the impact of special tax regimes on the P&L.
* Support the preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity, and Cash Flow Statement).
* Support external audits and prepare statutory and tax obligations (ECD, ECF).
* Work closely with the tax team to validate ICMS credits and ensure compliance with current legislation.
Requirements:
* Experience: 3 to 5 years in accounting roles within medium to large-sized companies.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Active CRC license is a plus).
* English mandatory : Intermediate level (reading, writing, and conversational skills).
* Technical Knowledge: Solid knowledge of accounting standards (CPCs/IFRS) and familiarity with market ERPs (SAP, OMIE, others).
* Preferred Qualifications: Practical knowledge of the tax structure related to the Manaus Free Trade Zone and ICMS Substitution Tax in São Paulo.
