AI-Augmented Software Engineer
Python | JavaScript | Cloud | AI Coding Agents
We are looking for a Software Engineer who builds software with AI as a core part of the development workflow.
This role is not for engineers who occasionally use Copilot. We are looking for developers who already work in an AI-augmented engineering environment, using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or other AI coding agents to significantly accelerate development.
You should be comfortable allowing AI to generate large portions of code, while maintaining full responsibility for architecture, quality, and system reliability.
🚀 What You'll Build
You will help design and develop modern backend systems and scalable APIs that power high-growth products.
Typical responsibilities include:
* Designing scalable backend services
* Building APIs using Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
* Using AI coding agents to implement and refactor features
* Reviewing AI-generated code for quality, security, and correctness
* Automating CI/CD pipelines and deployments
* Running and maintaining services in cloud environments
* Improving system reliability, observability, and performance
🧩 Required Technical Skills
Strong experience with:
* Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar)
* JavaScript or TypeScript (Node.js ecosystem)
* Designing and building REST APIs
* Git workflows and code reviews
* Automated testing
* Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
* Docker and containerized applications
🤖 AI-Augmented Engineering
You must already use AI tools as part of your daily development workflow.
Examples include:
* Claude Code
* Cursor IDE
* GitHub Copilot
* OpenAI Codex
* Gemini Code Assist
* Other AI coding agents
Expected capabilities:
* Writing structured prompts for code generation
* Using AI to implement features across multiple files
* Generating and improving automated tests
* Refactoring existing codebases with AI assistance
* Debugging systems with AI tools
⚙️ DevOps Experience (Preferred)
Experience with some of the following:
* Docker
* Kubernetes
* CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
* Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
* Monitoring and observability tools
⭐ Nice to Have
* Experience building AI-powered applications
* Experience working with LLM APIs
* Experience with distributed systems
* Experience in startup or fast-paced product environments
* Open source contributions
