The person hired for this position in the 3M Consumer Healthcare Business within Consumer Business Group will make an impact by:Serving as Functional Subject Matter Expert on Claims and SubstantiationMaintaining global product claim sheet content to support sales and marketing, including reviewing new claims for adequate substantiation and clinical evidenceCompleting Change Management Requests for assigned product lines, ensuring claims remain adequately supported and requesting clinical or other testing, as needed.Creating or reviewing clinical, regulatory, marketing and toxicological documentationEngaging with the global cross functional team to ensure global inputs and requirements (legal, regulatory) are incorporated into claimsEnsuring both Medical Device and Consumer requirements are metAligning with Legal on appropriate claims wordingYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Possess a bachelor's degree in a science discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution. Individuals with non-scientific bachelor's degrees from an accredited college or university may be considered with appropriate relevant technical experience.Experience managing or reviewing product claimsExperience working in a regulated industryExperience working with healthcare productsAdvanced English speaking and writing competencyAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Strong problem solving, influencing and negotiation skills, with ability to work effectively on cross functional teamsConsumer claims and regulatory experienceClinical experienceMedical Device Audit experienceAttention to detailExperience leading programs without significant oversiteProficient in Microsoft Office ToolsWork location: Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the Sumare, Brazil site.
