We are looking for a highly skilled Business Development and Sales Executive to join our Health & Biosciences Division (H&B), who will successfully develop, maintain, and strengthen IFF's relationship with customers in the grain processing industry in Brazil and South Cone.
This position offers an exciting role with much potential in a dynamic and strong industry.
S/he will be responsible for achieving ambitious growth objectives for the Grain Processing business Unit, delivering on the budget, and ensuring that H&B meets or exceeds the customer needs and expectations.
One of the main goals for this position is to create and maintain a robust project pipeline.
Experience in the cereal based ethanol production industry is a must.
Key Responsibilities: Makes IFF H&B the partner of choice for the Cereal based ethanol industry: cultivates and develops professional and productive relationships with existing and potential customers and engineering companies that help to reach strategic revenue growth and profit goalsDevelops and manages an evergreen opportunity pipeline, strongly focusing on advancing the projects and continuously creating new opportunitiesOrganizes and coordinates activities aimed to identify customers' strategies, needs, and pains, as well as market trends, that could open new business opportunities for IFF H&BIs aware and understands the customers' organizational structure, strategy, portfolio, performance, and market shareDevelops specific growth and defense strategies and plans for her/his accountsKeeps constant communication with her/his customersOffers technical and commercial solutions to customersWorks continuously to strengthen her/his network at all levels within the customers' organizationsMonitors and communicates any change in her/his customers' organizations that may affect our business either in a positive or negative wayDevelops account plans for key potential customersNegotiates prices and contracts for current and future businessesKeeps close contact with the Regional Industry Leader regarding the competitive environment and our portfolio strategyGets involved in initiatives targeted to develop specific markets segments, product lines, applications, and customersActs as a link between the customers and all IFF's areas (Customer Service; Application; Marketing & Communications; Logistics; Regulatory Affairs; Quality Assurance; others), meeting the requirements and service expectations of customers along the sales cycleMonitors possible risks for our businesses and shares them using the tools and channels provided by the company (Salesforce, forecasting tools, regional meetings, etc.
)Maintains an accurate sales forecast for her/his accounts Key requirements: You are a professional with a BS in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bio-Chemistry Sciences or similar knowledge areasYou have +3 years of sales or business developmentYou have experience in the production side of the ethanol business it will be a plus.You demonstrate a strong interest in the grain processing industries and have a solid practical understanding of the market, products, and technologies.
Having specific experience with production of cereal based ethanol is a strong advantageYou have strong experience developing new businesses, with full ownership coordinating team members to achieve business objectivesYou are great at listening to customers and are capable of converting customer pains and needs into business opportunitiesYou have well-developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to provide customers with innovative business solutionsYou have an outstanding ability to adapt your style to each customerYou show a sharp set of strategic selling, negotiations, and account management skillsYou are recognized as a results-oriented personYou are customer-focused, open-minded, flexible, and thrive in a busy environmentYou excel at planning, organizing, and prioritizing multiple tasksYou are relentless in following upYou have solid business and commercial acumenYou are skilled in conflict resolutionYou are excited to work in multicultural settingsYou are an avid learner, willing to develop new skills required for professional developmentYou are self-motivated and work independently, but at the same time are an exceptional team player who works collaboratively in a matrix organizationYou manage yourself with integrity, adhering to the highest ethical standardsYou have excellent communication skills in English, both written and oralYou have proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce, others)You are available to travel (up to 50% of the time) Accountability: Meets or exceeds revenue and profit targetsAchieves strategic industry and customer-specific objectives defined for the segmentBuilds and maintains a project pipeline to support business growth targetsCompletes training and certifications required by IFF within the assigned time frameGives support to achieve the targets set by the organization. You will be reporting to the Grain Processing Leader for Latin America. You will have a competent internal organization to support your development in the role.
Your location will preferably be in São Paulo, BR.
