Engineering & Technology Specialist (R&D)Position Overview:As an Engineering & Technology Specialist in R&D, you will play a key role in the development of new products, working closely with our HQ R&D team. Your responsibilities will include supporting drawing and structural design, performance testing, and collaborating with local suppliers. You will also be tasked with monitoring product development, preparing technical reports, and driving improvements within the production process.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and support the development of new products from concept to final design.Collaborate with the HQ R&D team on drawing, structural design, and performance testing.Work with local suppliers to develop product parts, ensuring high-quality standards.Organize technical meetings with relevant departments and suppliers to align on project goals.Prepare detailed technical reports related to product development, adjustments, improvements, or cost reduction initiatives.Plan and control development timelines, ensuring effective follow-ups.Troubleshoot and resolve factory-related issues and field problems associated with the product.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as FFR and process defect indicators.Develop and implement improvement projects within the product area.When applicable, prepare cost tracking reports for current and new models, as well as cost analysis for new parts.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.More than 2 years of experience in engineering & technology, particularly with refrigerator parts.Advanced proficiency in English. Knowledge of Korean is a plus.Knowledge and Skills:Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical technical drawings.Experience with 3D prototyping software (e.g., Inventor, Solid Edge, 2D CAD).Proactivity and the ability to drive future development and structure organizational growth.Accountability, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong leadership skills.Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a sense of ownership.Strong structural analysis and design skills.
