Scrum Master Role Description
As a dedicated Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients with long-term projects. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with Agile leadership and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies ensuring alignment with Agile principles.
This hands-on position requires someone comfortable working with distributed teams, guiding one Scrum team, and identifying impediments impacting team progress. You will have the opportunity to foster a culture of continuous improvement through experimentation and feedback.
A successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, SAFe certifications, and experience working with global teams using tools like Jira and Confluence.
Key responsibilities include:
* Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure alignment with Agile principles
* Support one Scrum team and partner with enterprise Agile Coach to improve team performance and delivery
* Assist with implementation and adoption of SAFe practices
* Identify and escalate impediments impacting team progress
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement through experimentation and feedback
Required skills include 2+ years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master, strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, familiarity with SAFe, and experience working with Agile tools. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
