About the roleAs a Senior Virtual HIL Commissioning Engineer, you will make an impact by shaping the HIL necessities. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with the commissioning team.In this role, you will:Identify system boundaries and define requirements for simulator I/O instrumentation and automation solutionsDefine test scope and instrumentation strategiesModel Simulate powertrain featuresHelp with commissioning of features related to transmission engines and other powertrain modulesCollaborates with core engineers’ suppliers feature experts and test engineers to design implement and troubleshoot instrumentation as requiredReview component level electrical schematics and functional specifications and translate the requirements into hardware and signal requirements for virtual implementationValidate and troubleshoot simulator and maintain test benchesTroubleshoots vehicle systems and test environment functionality to minimize false positive incident reportsWork model: OnsiteAt Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible, and we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.
