Job Purpose and Impact
The FIBI Americas Commissioning and Start Up Leader will d evelop the strategic direction and provide oversight and functional support for the commissioning, startup and turnover of a portfolio of large ( >10MM USD) projects in the Americas.
In this role you will drive the development of processes, tools and metrics for C&SU implementation across a broad portfolio while implementing a Continuous Improvement mindset for project and portfolio execution.
Key Accountabilities
Integrate sound commissioning execution and resourcing plans starting in FEL2/3 including the budgeting, scheduling, procurement and contracting and resource considerations in concert within individual, unique project plans to deliver to the business needs
Work with the businesses to ensure proper foresight in assigning resources, developing training, hiring talent, etc.
Develop internal talent for execution capabilities to drive positive team dynamics/culture
Migrate the turn over of projects within the project portfolio to Operations in conformity with new autonomous operations and document management systems
Optimize construction sequences for schedule vs cost drives
Report out on project and portfolio governance performance
Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
Previous years of related experience
Understanding of methods and techniques of scheduling projects
Proficient in interpreting and understanding technical manuals, drawings, blue prints, schematics and diagrams
Understanding of occupational hazards and standard safety practices
Ability to supervise and interface with all levels of personnel
Ability to travel up to 25%
Fluent English is required
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification
Understanding of autonomous operations
Familiar with asset management programs
Previous supervisory experience
