Senior Data Architect
We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of our data systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to shape the future of our organization's data infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data architecture principles, experience with cloud-based data platforms, and excellent leadership skills. They will be responsible for:
* Designing and implementing scalable data architectures that meet business needs
* Leveraging cloud technologies such as Snowflake and Apache Iceberg to optimize data processing and storage
* Developing and maintaining data pipelines that ensure high-quality and reliable data delivery
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data into business operations
Required Skills:
* 8+ years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record of leading data projects or teams
* Strong programming skills in Python with expertise in building and optimizing ETL pipelines
* Extensive experience with Snowflake or equivalent data warehouses for designing schemas, optimizing queries, and managing large datasets
* Expertise in orchestration tools like Apache Airflow with experience in building and managing complex workflows
* Deep understanding of messaging queues such as Kafka, AWS SQS, or similar technologies for real-time data ingestion and processing
