About The Role
This is a full‑time remote role for an iOS developer at Going Merry. The iOS developer will be responsible for day‑to‑day tasks related to mobile development, working closely with the team to build and maintain high‑quality mobile applications. You will have end‑to‑end ownership of the product, from initial design discussions through to shipping the final app.
Responsibilities
Develop iOS applications using Swift/SwiftUI
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
Participate in architecture discussions and design decisions
Ensure high performance and responsiveness through profiling and optimization
Integrate CI/CD pipelines and automate builds
Use version control (Git) for source management
Maintain clear documentation and unit tests
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in mobile app development
3+ years of experience with SwiftUI
Proven track record of developing at least one complex iOS application
Proficiency in Swift programming language
Proficiency in English
Experience with dependency management using SPM or CocoaPods
Familiarity with MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture patterns
Solid understanding of iOS app lifecycle and performance optimization
Proficiency in Git version control
Experience with CI/CD tools is a plus
