Key Insights Analyst Role

The ideal candidate has strong analytical reasoning, SQL skills, and the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment. They will work on ad hoc analysis, deep dive projects, dashboard development, and data engineering to support Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for running ad hoc analysis, supporting deep dive projects, building and maintaining dashboards, writing SQL queries, and documenting logic and definitions to support long-term reuse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run ad hoc analysis to answer business questions related to customer behavior, product usage, sales performance, and financial trends
- Support deep dive projects such as weighted pipeline evaluation, consumption reporting, sales attainment analysis, and LTV to CAC modeling
- Build and maintain BI dashboards in Tableau or similar tools
- Write SQL queries to pull, clean, and transform data in Snowflake
- Develop repeatable data models for financial and operational metrics
- Summarize findings and partner with internal teams to clarify metric definitions and ensure consistency across reporting
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or a related field
- Moderate SQL experience with a willingness to learn and improve
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
- Strong analytical reasoning and the ability to connect data to business concepts
- Clear written communication skills and the ability to summarize findings
- Comfortable working independently and managing priorities in an async environment
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
