The Latin America (LAM) Business Intelligence (BI) Key User (KU) is responsible for ensuring all LAM site BI needs and opportunities are identified, prioritized and met, using required standard Americas solutions.
The LAM BI KU supports all LAM Product Lines and sites, with responsibility for dashboard, operations data reporting and other automated data tool needs and solutions for all functions/métiers using GSI and landscape systems + supporting data.
**Specific responsibilities of the role**:
- Identify/assess/prioritize all KPI dashboard, operations data reporting & automated data movement / retrieval / formatting tool needs (gaps and opportunities) for all functions/métiers of all GSI sites.
Communicate all needs to AME RBPEs and collaborate with RBPEs to ensure all needs are met.
- Collaborate with RBPEs to maximize use of (1) existing solutions and (2) common solutions for all Product Lines and sites
- Collaborate with RBPEs to maximize solution value versus cost to provide
- Ensure target labor-savings improvements from deployed automated tools are identified when requested and achieved when implemented.
Define target # of users for tools and facilitate adoption accordingly.
- Ensure all site KPI dashboard, operations data reporting & automated data movement / retrieval / formatting tool needs are met with solutions approved by the BI RBPEs.
Ensure every non-standard local tool is specifically approved as such by BI RBPEs before it is developed or used.
Ensure with BI RPBEs any existing non-standard local tool is either approved to continue, or agreed for replacement with a standard tool.
- Ensure all mandatory standard tools, including the GSI leading indicators KPI tool and monthly GSI steering committee templates, are used by all applicable sites
- Lead and/or participate in all required testing of new/enhanced automated tools deployments
- Ensure necessary training/documentation is provided to end users to ensure solutions awareness and effective use.
- Ensure all proposed improvements or changes to automated tools are communicated to RBPE for evaluation and alignment on plan to address.
- Create and track required Fiori BW access requests for end users.
- Develop/Maintain/Grow LAM GSI expertise/competencies in use of Business Intelligence and tools
- Actively support AME Business Intelligence Key User (KU) / Expert network
- Consolidate/prioritize/report open points from all sites; provide/facilitate investigation and technical details; Support problem resolutions and Identify/facilitate needed solution enhancements
**Qualifications & Experiences**
**Mandatories**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Science or related field
- 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, supply chain, finance, sourcing or quality
- 4 years of experience with ERP systems
- Strong understanding of Business Intelligence and related tools
- Strong understanding of business operations
- Proven leadership and influencing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Data-oriented mindset with digitalization focus
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to perform in ambiguous & challenging situations, effectively cope with change, meet challenging deadlines on simultaneous projects while effectively managing risk and uncertainty
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment
- Fluent in English
**Desirable**
- 2 years of experience with ERP system implementations
- 2 years of experience as an ERP system Key User
- 4 years of rail industry experience
