Additional Responsibilities
Contract Specialists negotiate risk, legal, and commercial terms in services contracts with PwC's clients (sell-side contracts, not procurement). They collaborate with R&I risk management and PwC business teams to evaluate contract and related performance risks, educate stakeholders and clients on contract provisions, redline/negotiate contracts with clients' procurement, legal and outside counsel, and develop internal controls to ensure contract compliance.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum Degree Required (BQ): High School Diploma
Minimum Year(s) of Experience (BQ): 6 year(s) with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing contract negotiations of increasing complexity.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree Preferred: Juris Doctorate
Preferred Knowledge/Skills
Demonstrates in-depth level abilities and/or a proven record of success managing efforts with identifying and addressing client needs:
Leading the substantive negotiation of complex commercial contracts
Reviewing and redlining detailed risk, legal, and commercial contract terms
Understanding of managed services offerings and related contract terms and conditions, performance metrics, and experience with finance managed services, technology managed services, cyber managed services, or risk & regulatory managed services is desired but not required
Exercising an entrepreneurial, problem-solving mentality and autonomy in managing contract negotiations
Explaining contract terms and positions in a collaborative manner to internal stakeholders and external contract parties
Driving process improvement by analyzing contracting approaches and improving contracting efficiency and overall experience
Respecting and maintaining confidentiality of client, staff, and firm information
Navigating independence and other regulatory issues related to audit firms
Identifying and addressing stakeholder needs
Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of relationships
