The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional WordPress development, with advanced skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. You should also have a deep knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem, including custom post types, hooks, filters, ACF, WP-CLI, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
* Convert design mockups into responsive, high-performance websites
* Optimize websites for speed, security, and scalability
* Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain multiple WordPress sites
* Collaborate using tools like Slack, ClickUp, and Notion
* Manage local, staging, and production environments
Your Profile:
* 5–8 years of professional WordPress development experience
* Advanced skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
* Deep knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem
* Proven ability to develop custom plugins/themes without page builders
* Experience with technical SEO, performance, and security best practices
* Proficient with Git and version control
* Highly autonomous, organized, and fluent in English
