Job Title: Event Marketing Assistant
Salary Range:
The salary for this role is $55,000.00/yr - $62,000.00/yr, plus incentives that can exceed $20K based on performance.
About the Role:
This position supports the Event & Retail Manager in driving non-media lead generation and local awareness through various marketing tactics, including events, showrooms, corporate partnerships, retail partnerships, community groups, HOA's, and company-created events.
* In-field coaching, training, and booth work
* Recruiting and interviewing
* Classroom training, teaching staff methodology, rebuttals, process, and procedures
* Managing the department calendar, negotiating with event sponsors and vendors to procure space and obtain the best value for investment
* Overseeing participation in events, sponsorship, retail partnerships, and creation of lead-gen opportunities based on established objectives
This role requires strong leadership skills, project management abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to think strategically.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with partners within Renewal to drive results
2. Communicate results and strategy with management
3. Provide guidance, training, and work direction to Retail Marketing Reps
Requirements:
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities. Experience in sales/marketing, planning events, and managing sales/retail teams is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
