Role Overview
We seek a Business Associate to work closely with our CEO & Founder in a remote setting. You'll support research, investor communications, project tracking, financial analysis, and other critical tasks as we expand. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently. This role can grow into a larger position with increased responsibility over time.
Key Responsibilities
* Research - Assist in studying new business opportunities and preparing simple reports
* Investor Communications - Support updates and materials for investors
* Project Tracking - Process invoices, maintain budgets, and track costs
* Data Work - Review and analyze basic business data to identify trends
* Financial Analysis - Assist with numbers for acquisitions and new projects
* Business Development - Help outreach to potential customers and partners
* New Ideas - Assist market testing of new business lines and services
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Careful attention to detail
* Able to work respectfully with internal teammates and outside partners
* Ability to work independently and stay organized without constant oversight
* Strong skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint
* Comfort using AI tools to enhance productivity
* Good written and spoken English
* Open to learning and taking on different types of tasks
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
* At least 5 years of professional experience in finance, business analysis, or project management
* Strong technical and communication skills with ability to present findings clearly
