As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying cloud-native backend systems using modern technologies and practices.
Main Responsibilities:
* Backend Development: Design and implement scalable and maintainable backend systems within a cloud-native environment.
* Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with product, design, and engineering peers to shape solutions from conception to release.
* Reliability and Monitoring: Implement observability tooling and take part in post-incident investigations to strengthen system resilience.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging tools and industry trends to inform best practices and maintain a future-ready tech stack.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need:
Technical Skills:
* Deep knowledge of scalable architecture and design patterns.
* Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, including experience with NestJS, serverless frameworks, and AWS Lambda.
* Experience with event-driven and microservice-based architectures.
* Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
* Data Handling: Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or AWS Aurora. Familiarity with ORM tools like TypeORM or Prisma is a plus.
