Strategic Operations Director
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Director to play a key role in shaping and scaling patient care operations for a fast-growing digital health company.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a builder who thrives on designing systems from scratch and solving complex problems in a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining what patient care means at scale, leading a rapidly expanding team, and ensuring operational excellence as we grow from ~50 to 200+ people within a year.
Main Responsibilities:
 * Define and implement patient care strategy across multiple health categories
 * Balance proactive vs. reactive care approaches
 * Design and scale new services
 * Lead and scale a high-performing operations team (50 → 200+)
 * Hire, onboard, and develop new team members
 * Drive performance management and uphold quality standards
 * Partner with central product and tech teams to improve efficiency
 * Identify, scope, and prioritize operational challenges
 * Champion tech-enabled solutions that reduce linear staff growth
Requirements:
 * 8+ years of professional experience with 3-4 years in consulting, strategy roles or investment banking and 3-4 years in operational leadership and scaling roles essential
 * Experience growing teams, ideally you've managed 30+ people
 * Strong problem-solving ability and structured thinking
 * B2C experience strongly preferred
 * Builder mentality: construct, don't just maintain
 * Mandatory fluency in Portuguese and English
