Infrastructure Leadership Role
The IT Infrastructure Lead will oversee a team responsible for core infrastructure operations and enhancements. This position emphasizes leadership, planning, and collaboration across global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate a small infrastructure team across compute, storage, and network domains.
2. Ensure alignment with technical goals by coordinating tasks, timelines, and dependencies.
3. Facilitate change windows, maintenance schedules, and upgrades with stakeholders.
4. Track and escalate risks, issues, and blockers with clear context and recommended actions.
5. Maintain documentation, dashboards, and status reports for leadership and technical teams.
6. Support vendor coordination for hardware logistics, remote hands, and service delivery.
7. Ensure compliance with change management and security protocols.
8. Organize and lead team standups, working sessions, and stakeholder updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 3 to 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure.
* Experience leading infrastructure initiatives in hybrid or co-managed environments.
* A strong understanding of servers, virtualization, storage, networking, DNS, and monitoring.
* Proficiency with tools like Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or Smartsheet.
* Strong communication and documentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
* Ability to manage priorities across time zones and work independently.
* Familiarity with ITIL, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices is a plus.
* Experience with CMDB and inventory tools is an advantage.
