Job Overview: The IT Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing specific IT infrastructure projects within the organization. Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution:Develop detailed project plans for IT infrastructure projects, including resources, timelines, and budget. Execute the project plan, ensuring that project milestones are achieved within the planned timelines. Resource Management:Manage project resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and budgets. Ensure resources are utilized efficiently and are aligned to project requirements. Risk & Issue Management:Identify and manage potential risks and issues that could impact project success. Develop and implement mitigation strategies and escalate issues when necessary. Stakeholder Communication:Ensure clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, including project teams, management, vendors, and other departments. Manage stakeholder expectations regarding project outcomes. Vendor Management:Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation, issue resolution, and performance evaluation. Quality Control:Oversee quality control processes within the project to ensure the final product meets the project requirements and quality standards. Reporting & Documentation:Provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders and management. Document project processes and outcomes for future reference and learning. Requirements: Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) are highly desirable. Experience:At least 7 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure projects. Technical Skills:Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies such as networking, servers, databases, and cloud services. Proficiency with project management software and tools. Soft Skills:Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
