**We are searching for the best talent for Medical Manager Rare Diseases to be in Sao Paulo, Brazil.**
**You will be responsible for**:
- Leads scientific discussions with **key** internal and external stakeholders / influencers (e.g., KOLs, Medical societies, etc.) focusing on changing medical behavior through the exchange of scientific knowledge and conveying the value of the attributes related to the technology;
- Leads the **sharing of scientific knowledge**to internal stakeholders e.g., through training offerings that help to ensure highest standards of brand/therapy expertise in customer facing teams;
- ** Provides insights**around key brand, marketplace themes/trends and competitors;
- Defines on **current and future license indications**and enable internal and external customers to make informed decisions;
- ** Increase the customers’ understanding**of J&J Innovative Medicine products and compliance;
- Is the point of contact for investigators proposing investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and manages such studies in collaboration with GCO- MAO;
- Is a J&J Innovative Medicine speaker externally for specific forums where MAF can add relevant value to the discussions;
- Provides **scientific support** to communications teams and/or patient advocacy groups and their initiatives (e.g., responding to clinical interest, gathering insights);
- Maps KOLs in a specific disease and patient journey to develop them through engagement plan;
- Co-leads with the** Market Access**team the strategy for guidelines and endorsement, identifying local and regional gaps and appropriate stakeholders;
- Works in collaboration with Medical Affairs Regional Leader for PI, site selection and engagement strategy (supports the resolution of issues with enrolled sites, and participates in meetings as appropriate), aligned with TA Head/Medical Manager;
- Provides real-time coaching for MSL team to support the development of scientific and soft skills, when the role comprises the direct report of an MSL team
- Contributes to regional IEGP process by identifying data generation gaps for key in-line and pipeline products;
- Collaborates with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and Patient Support Program teams for key processes as Risk Management plans, etc.
**Qualifications**
- Medicine or master’s degree is a plus, not mandatory
- Solid experience as Medical Manager is mandatory; 5 -7 years of work experience in the pharmaceuticals industry, academic research and/or health care
- Expertise in Rare Diseases is mandatory
- Expertise in Neuromuscular diseases or Neurology is highly desirable
- Languages: Fluent English is mandatory and Advanced Spanish is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office
- Available to travel 20% of time
